Soroptimist International of Desert Tucson
Our Dream programs depend on grants and donations from our generous supporters. Your gift will make it possible for a woman or girl to change her life through education which leads to economic empowerment. Donations of all sizes are appreciated and you are able to specify how you would like your donation to be used.
Your tax-deductible donation allows us to continue to help Tucson women and girls to achieve their dreams of a better life through education. Soroptimist Desert Tucson is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Donations in any amount make a difference. If you are an Arizona taxpayer, you also have the option of specifying that your donation be QCO eligible.
SIDT has been approved by the Arizona Department of Revenue as a Qualifying Charitable Organization (QCO). To get this approval, at least 51% of our annual spending must directly benefit low income Arizona residents, something our Dream Programs match perfectly. SIDT's QCO ID is 22241. Arizonans can take a tax credit of $421 per taxpayer against the taxpayer's Arizona State Income Tax liability. QCO donations to SIDT not only help Tucson women and girls, they may also lower your tax liability. For more information, download our QCO information sheet and consult with your tax preparer. Donations may be made by check or using our online form. You will receive a letter of acknowledgement with the information you need to file your taxes.
SIDT also takes advantage of programs that support charities to augment our fundraising. These are open to everyone, and you can participate while doing your regular shopping.
Bashas' Community Support Cards are a great way to help SIDT while you do your normal grocery shopping. These reloadable gift cards are accepted at all Bashas', Food City and AJ's stores. Simply contact us to purchase a card and use it to buy your groceries. SIDT will get 6% of the face value of the card PLUS 6% of the reload amount. Email us to purchase a card.
